The SPEED-KAMUMU is a compact cable sleeve CWDM/DWDM multiplexer to be used for passive multiplexing of CWDM applications in cable ducts or MDFs.
The integrated WDM components are designed for ruggedized environments supporting extended temperature range to be installed in outdoor areas - even in the event of frost. The compact SPEED-KAMUMU is supplied with a standard DIN-rail clip and sleeve-specific mounting kit for an easy-to-realize installation. Fibers are provided with a flexible, but robust and strain-relieved fiber protection in order that splicing can be carried out by a minimum risk of damage.
The SPEED-KAMUMU contains absolutely no active electronics and thus is suitable for a trouble-free integration in areas where no active multiplexing technology are allowed to be used. The number of WDM channels can be adapted based on project specifications to achieve optimal attenuation for critical applications.
