    The SPEED-MODEM DSL series is perfectly suited for users with own copper infrastructures. Up to 2.3 Mbps data rates can be achieved over long distances with the G.SHDSL standard by using 2-wire copper lines. The automatic rate adaption function independently adjusts the modems to the optimal line speed to accomplish an easy-to-realize installation and configuration. The modems are available in two options: Ethernet plug & play standalone unit or SNMP-capable rack mount module supporting G.703/G.704 (E1), X.21 (n x 64 kbps) or 10/100BaseTX interfaces. The plug & play Ethernet modem is available in a robust metal housing while the high-end modules can be either integrated in a 4-slot SPEED-RACKHOUSING (19") or in a modular standalone housing.
