E1 voice-and-data integration in a point-to-point operation
Multiple services for voice and data applications can simultaneously be transmitted over a framed or unframed E1 line (e.g. D2MU, D2MS) by the TDM technology of the SPEED-MUX FE1. Thus costs for further leased lines can be saved.
The SPEED-MUX FE1 supports numerous interfaces like 10/100BaseTX, ISDN BRI S0, X.21, G.703/G.704 and V.35 to be multiplexed on a E1 leased line. Data are transparently transferred for maintaining system-dependent features of a PBX during voice transmission. The 4-slot 19” rack housing is modular designed for integration of one E1 link module (supporting additionally an X.21 or 10/100BaseTX client interface) and up to three interface modules.
Pre-concentration of low-speed leased lines for saving expensive router ports
A pre-concentration enables a transmission of multiple X.21 or ISDN BRI S0 lines over an E1 link supporting a maximum speed of 1.984Mbps for saving expensive links to each individual access router.
The SPEED-MUX FE1 is ideally suited for both Enterprise networks and Carrier access solutions. The product can be combined with other SPEED products to be installed in the 4-slot SPEED-RACKHOUSING. The SPEED-MUX FE1 can be connected to existing NMS infrastructures by using a SNMP management module.
