For remote monitoring and supervision of 2Mbps leased lines
Highlights
- Transparent monitoring of 64kbps channels on G.703/G.704 connections
- Ideally for monitoring and bundling of signalling data over E1 leased lines
- Independent to the monitored network elements and analyzer
|
- Remote analysis of problems via Telnet and SNMP
- Monitoring data are multiplexed on a G.703/G.704 interface
- Modular design

The SPEED-MUX FE1 Monitor enables the interconnection of several 64kbps channels of different G.703/G.704 links on a single G.703/G.704 connection. It therefore saves expensive interfaces of the connected analyzers and the use of a separate analyzer in each location that has to be monitored. The multiplexer can simultaneously read up to 15 x 64kbps channels in send an receive direction, while the data can be transported and analyzed e.g. remotely over an E1 line or locally by using only one E1 interface of the measuring instrument. The transmission of channels is completely transparent, in real-time and independently to the to be monitored network elements. The input and output channels can be arbitrarily assigned using the SNMP agent. The system is modular in design an can be operated flexibly both in the 3-slot stand alone housing and in the 19" SPEED-SHELF together with other SPEED products.
