Description

The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER is a patented, mobile network solution with an integrated fiber optic port. Small LANs can be realized independent of locations due to its simple and fast installation. The rolled up fiber optic cable on the switch enables an trouble-free transmission as well as a protection against electromagnetic disturbances and is perfectly suited for by-passing long distances (up to 2 km) between Ethernet segments or for fiber-to-the-office applications. The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER provides a mobile plug & play infrastructure for temporary installations, e.g. incase of communication failure and/or failure of network components or at events such as fairs, conferences or training courses. The intergrated 7-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch offers customers high performance as well as auto-sensing and auto-negotiation. The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER is up lied with a 200m Multimode fiber optic cable on the drum, and an optic adapter from SC to ST. The power supply is provided by an integrated mains adapter.
