The integrated 9-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch offers a high-performance plus auto-sensing and auto-negotiation to users. The SFP-based port is equipped with a 100BaseFX (1310nm Multimode) transceiver. The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER is supplied with a 200m Multimode fiber optic cable and an optical SC-to-ST adapter. The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER can be used even without switch e.g for extending a fiber optic link. Power is provided by the integrated power supply.

Use for events

The SPEED-SWITCH FIBER is a patented, mobile switching solution with an integrated fiber optic switch for a fast and easy realization of small LANs - regardless to the location. The garled fiber optic on the switch enables a trouble-free transmission and a protection against electromagnetic disturbances. Thus the product is perfectly suited for achieving long distances (up to 2km) between Ethernet segments or for fiber-to-the-office applications. In addition the SPEED-SWITCH FIBER ensures an easy-to-realize plug & play infrastructure for temporary installations e.g. in the event of a communication or network component failure as well as at events like fairs, conferences or trainings.
