The SPEED-CARRIER 1U-H

Our customers use our SPEED-CARRIER 1U-H to connect their data centres. The aim is to transmit extremely large amounts of data in the smallest possible space. System cards with speeds of up to 400 Gbit/s are typically installed. This is an ideal combination for future bandwidth requirements. However, the backplane can also be used with lower-bandwidth system cards, such as the SPEED-DUALLINE 16G SFP+, SPEED-DUALLINE 10G 3R, SPEED-DUALLINE SFP 2R and SPEED-SIXLINE 10G 3R.

SPEED-DUALLINE 16G SFP+: This compact 2-channel transponder card is equipped with four SFP+ ports. In CWDM and DWDM networks, it converts up to two 4/8/16 GFC channels to the corresponding CWDM and DWDM wavelengths. Additionally, the integrated 3R (Reshaping, Reamplification, Retiming) function of the SPEED-DUALLINE 16G enables error-free transmission, even over longer distances. The SPEED-DUALLINE 16G supports 1+1 protection for the redundant linking of two locations via Fibre Channel. It can bridge distances of up to 80 km without an intermediate location. Depending on customer requirements, it can transmit two 4/8/16 GFC signals at a time. Additionally, the integrated SNMP sender can send SNMP traps to a management system via Ethernet.

The SPEED-DUALLINE 10G 3R is a compact, two-channel transponder card with four SFP+ ports. In CWDM and DWDM networks, it converts up to two 10 Gbit/s channels to the corresponding CWDM and DWDM wavelengths. The SPEED-DUALLINE 10G's integrated 3R (reshaping, reamplification and retiming) function enables error-free transmission, even over longer distances. It can bridge distances of up to 80 km without an intermediate site.

Supported data rates: 1/10 Gbit/s Ethernet, 2/4/8/10 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 2.5/5/10 Gbit/s InfiniBand, STM-16 SDH, OTU-1/2 OTN.

SPEED-DUALLINE SFP 2R

The SPEED-DUALLINE SFP 2R is a compact, two-channel transponder card that enables transparent transmission of two independent data signals. It has four SFP slots (two client signals and two line signals), each of which can be equipped with multimode, single-mode, CWDM/DWDM, copper or single-fibre SFPs independently. Wavelength conversion can be implemented on a single card for 1x Gigabit Ethernet (multimode 850 nm → CWDM 1551 nm) and 1x Gigabit Ethernet (multimode 850 nm → CWDM 1571 nm). In addition to wavelength conversion, the SPEED-DUALLINE SFP can perform media conversions such as from copper-based 1000BaseTX to fibre-based 1000BaseFX. Furthermore, the integrated SNMP sender can send SNMP traps to a management system via Ethernet.

The SPEED-SIXLINE 10G 3R is a compact, 6-channel transponder card with twelve SFP+ ports. In CWDM and DWDM networks, it converts up to six 10G channels to the corresponding CWDM and DWDM wavelengths. Additionally, the integrated 3R (Reshaping, Reamplification, Retiming) function of the SPEED-SIXLINE 10G enables error-free transmission over longer distances. It can bridge distances of up to 80 km without an intermediate site. Depending on customer requirements, up to four 10G signals can be transmitted at a time. Additionally, the integrated SNMP sender can send SNMP traps to a management system via Ethernet.

• Modular flexibility: The carrier rack can be equipped with active and passive system cards as required.
• Secure data transmission: It supports tamper-proof AES 256 Layer 1 encryption directly at the connection layer.
• Hot-swappable maintenance: All modules can be replaced while the system is running and accessed from the front without disrupting the rest of the data traffic.
