      Technical progress and new technologies are developing faster than ever these days. Some of them have the potential to change our society comprehensively and new approaches such as Artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, autonomous networks etc. will determine our future.

      WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is a fiber saving purely optical multiplex technology. It works in a similar way to color filters that only allow precisely defined wavelengths of light (color spectrum) to pass through. The signals are transmitted on several independent wavelengths (light) via a fiber cable.

      CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is an optical multiplexing technology for city and access networks. The transmission takes place in up to 16 channels with wavelengths between 1270 nm and 1610 nm.

      DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is an optical multiplexing technology with the enormous performance for more than 10 Tbps and allows the use of 96 wavelengths in the optical C-band only as well as long-haul amplification.

      This concept enables easy channel expansion with DWDM modules while still using existing CWDM components. This protects the investment in the existing CWDM networks.

      TDM (Time Division Multiplex) is also called time slot multiple. The time division multiplex transmits several signals or connections at different times and is ideal for the aggregation of lower data rates for the optimized use of xWDM systems.

      An optical amplifier is a device that amplifies an incoming optical signal as it passes through without having converted it into an electrical signal in between.

      Encryption enables the confidential transmission of data, voice and video.

      Encryption protects against reading and changing of data by unauthorized persons.

      With encryption standards such as AES 256 and a secure Diffie Hellman key exchange, your data is protected during transport.
